Airplane paint schemes have come a long way in the last decade. Take a look as some of the new airplanes coming out of the factory today and you will see something quite different from years past. Many have sweeping curves and lines that add a sleek new dimension to the airframe.
Many of our customers prefer to stick to a classic paint scheme that the factory selected for their airplane years before. Others want an updated look with a current factory scheme. And others prefer a totally new look with a one-of-a-kind custom paint scheme.
You have a number of design choices when choosing a paint scheme and colors:
-
Paint Scheme Library – If you’re curious about some of the newer paint schemes available you may want to search through our
paint scheme library. If you are already a Murmer client, login to the paint scheme library using your existing User ID and Password. If you are new to Murmer, call us at 1-800-832-0177 for
a trial User ID and Password. Digital imaging software allows our customers to choose from a variety of new designs from our on-line catalog.

Our library contains hundreds of paint schemes that our customers may browse, download and print to help them decide on color selection. This is also a good starting point if you think you might be interested in a custom design. If you would like to explore the design ideas in our library fill out our on-line proposal form, or give us a call. We will be glad to get you started.
-
Photos – The simplest method is to take a photo of another similar aircraft that you like and bring it to us. We will work with you to fine tune the details and select colors that work well with your design. Take a look at our Project Gallery to see what others have done. Get an idea of the color choices available from our Sherwin Williams paint charts.

This method works well when you want to stay with traditional or factory designs, and have a good idea what you are looking for.
