The Murmer Treatment

Our extensive 21-step refinishing process is the essential element in every great paint job.   Each aircraft that comes through our shop receives the special care and attention we are known for.  We start with careful protection of your aircraft and then remove all of the old paint and surface corrosion.  We then apply the latest in aircraft coatings technology – sealants, surface treatments, primers and high-solids top coat – that protect and beautify the airframe.  Design elements are then added – stripes, accents and registration numbers in a vast array of available styles and colors.  Finally, each aircraft is expertly detailed to bring it all together in final form.

The Murmer Team

Our dedicated professional craftsmen are what sets us apart.  Our employees are among the most experienced in the aircraft refinishing industry – Most have over 20 years of experience.  They possess the wide range of specialized skills necessary to complete your project with precision and care.  We are passionate about our work – And it shows on every aircraft we paint.
